Mark was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona where he grew up fishing on the lakes and camping in the woods. He started hunting early in his twenties and fell in love with the sport. He is a loving father of two amazing boys, where he lives to pass on the tradition.
Having spent most of his life on the field as a player and coach, he thrived on the competitive spirit, the strategic planning, and the pursuit of outplaying your opponent. Bowhunting characterized these same aspects and filled his soul to create balance in life. The sport requires attention to detail, minute adjustments, and precise mechanics to be accurate. Having spent years studying the science of bowhunting, he decided to start his dream of one day owning an archery shop.

In 2018 Campfire Archery began as a friend and family hobby. Behind the name is the stories, the brotherhood, and the memories that are made around a campfire. Over the years of string making and bow service he opened a production side of the service. Although he still works full time in public education, he cherishes the stories that each hunter shares.
